Stafford Orchard Volunteers

Volunteers are always needed, whether it is as a park warden, or getting involved on planting, gardening, wildlife surveys, litter picking and brook cleaning, or organising events in the park. If you have other ideas on getting involved in running the park, just let us know.

Volunteering

Some volunteer work is regular, such as being a park warden or gardening, whilst other activities are occasional such as planting, brook clearing or surveying wildlife.

Our park wardens need only volunteer for an hour or two a week or even less - any help is appreciated. Their presence makes the park feel more secure and friendly, it is a deterrent to vandalism and means that any problems get reported more quickly and therefore get sorted without delay.

Volunteers involved during the park's planting stage.

Getting Involved

If you feel you could spare some time to support your village park, please contact Quorn Parish Council or drop into the Parish Office. Training and equipment will be provided where necessary. The team are a friendly bunch and a warm welcome is assured!
