Quorn Garden Club

We are an active club for gardeners and those interested in gardening living in or in the surrounding area of the village of Quorn, near Loughborough, Leicestershire. The Club was formed in 1996.

We organise a varied programme of talks, outings and activities throughout the year. For talks and
gardening demonstrations we meet on the third Thursday of the month in the Church Rooms, Quorn. Doors open at 7.00pm with tea and coffee for a 7.30pm start.

All indoor meetings are free to our members; visitors are very welcome for a charge of £5.00 per meeting. We have a refreshments/social break midway through each talk/presentation.

In the summer months we have visits to local gardens and places of horticultural interest, for which an additional charge may be made. In June we hold an annual Plant Swap.

You may join us as a new member at any of our regular indoor meetings or, alternatively, print and complete a membership form and bring it to a meeting.

Quorn Garden Club is an affiliated member of Tendershoots, www.tendershoots.uk (new browser tab), a national collective of independent garden clubs sharing resources, joint zoom meetings and events. Through Tendershoots we can offer our members a 50% discount off Suttons seeds and 15% on other Suttons items.

Membership

Our Annual General Meeting is held in January when we appoint the Club's Officers and when subscription payments are due (£25 for individual membership, £40 for a couple). Subscriptions run for the calendar year. Members joining in the period September-December are credited with membership for the following year.
