Floodlighting of Saint Bartholomew's ChurchPlans to floodlight St Batholomew's Church and Quorn Baptist Church on Meeting Street were first put forward by Council in 1996. Eventually the St Bart's scheme became part of the Millennium Commission's grant aided proposals to floodlight parish churches for 2000 and the lights were finally turned on at Christmas 1999. Bat considerations delayed the Baptist Church scheme but the scheme was completed before the year 2000 ended. Return to Quorn Village Achievements section |
