When a small village was plagued by a wild wolf, it is told that a humble friar named Francesco came and met the predator with nothing but his gentle presence, and turned the wolf from a menace into a welcome protector of the community. This graceful man, who spoke to each part of creation as a sister or brother, has become one of the most beloved of all saints.
Join us as we explore the extraordinary and inspirational life of this beautiful soul expressed in the exquisite fresco series that adorns the interior of the Basilica of Assisi in the heart of the Umbrian countryside.
