Live & Local present 'Alas, Poor Yorick'!

Saturday 26th October 2024
Quorn Village Hall - Curtain up at 7.00pm Doors open 6.30pm
Cost: 12.50

If the Two Ronnies were cast as the Gravediggers in Shakespeare’s Hamlet re-written by Samuel Beckett you might have something like Ridiculusmus’s “Alas! Poor Yorick”.

Flipping the Shakespearean original tragedy into an existential clown piece, the artistic partnership of Jon Haynes and David Woods pull out every trick in their theatre playbook to create a Stoppardian take on the gravediggers from ‘Hamlet’.

This hilarious clown show is not to be missed - even if, or especially if, you don't like Shakespeare! Bring a bottle and some snacks and look forward to an evening of laughter.
